The charity's new method of receiving vital crime information, which guarantees the mobile phone user's anonymity, will be publicised in schools, colleges and youth clubs in the ten areas of England and Wales which are taking part in the government's Tackling Knives Action Programme (TKAP).

Launched in October 2007, www.shadowcs.co.uk has proved a great success for the charity, attracting over a million hits from young people throughout the UK who have logged on to play its range of educational games, contributed to chat forums and sought anonymous advice about crime.

www.shadowcs.co.uk is a fun, interactive website aimed at young people aged 11 – 16+ all about crime.

It allows young people to get involved in discussions about crime and the everyday things that affect them and gives them the option of seeking advice if they don't know what to do.

In addition to the website a DVD called ShadowCS The DVD was developed specifically with young people in mind. It features nummerious animatics followed by a Q&A and a Discussion Points section.
